Terms of Service.
In this document, "we" "our" and "us" refers to Mobile Disco Belfast.
Prices on the website are estimated and subject to change. For a precise quote you need to request it in writing from Mobile Disco Belfast.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure Mobile Disco Belfast for an event. This amount shall be subtracted from the performance fee.
The performance fee balance must be paid in full before the event by one of the following methods: Cheque, payable to Glenn Burke 2 weeks before the event, Bank transfer 1 week before the event or in Cash prior to the event commencement.

Mobile Disco Belfast will be ready to perform at the start time of the event. Mobile Disco Belfast will not be liable for any refund, in part or whole, where ‘we’ are late accessing the venue and setting up purely because of earlier events over-running, or where ‘we’ are prevented from accessing, setting up or providing our professional services by the venue management. Neither will Mobile Disco Belfast be obligated to provide an extension to the agreed timescale on a pro-rata basis in these circumstances. No guarantee is made as to Mobile Disco Belfast’s time of arrival; however, Mobile Disco Belfast requests that they be permitted 90 minutes before the event and 90 minutes after the event for setup and breakdown.
Hirer shall provide Mobile Disco Belfast with safe and appropriate working conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, providing an area at least 3.5 meters by 2.5 meters for the DJ’s main setup of speakers and lighting stands, 2x reliable power source outlets within 3 meters along the wall of the set-up area.
Mobile Disco Belfast reserves the right, in good faith, to stop or cancel the performance should a potential danger to the equipment, or audience become apparent, safety is paramount in all decisions. The performance fee will not be affected by such cancellation. Where Mobile Disco Belfast is engaged to work alongside a band (or other entertainer), it is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that adequate space exists within the venue for both entertainers to set up their equipment and that separate power outlets exist.
The Hirer agrees to provide adequate supervision of guests and will ensure that venue management adequately supervises customers and or staff on site premises. Please note: Where the function may include guests under the age of 16 years, the Hirer (or parent) is responsible for the behaviour and safety of any minors attending the venue. The Hirer will provide and maintain adequate adult supervision at all times. Mobile Disco Belfast will not be liable for the supervision of minors.
Hirer will take steps to protect Mobile Disco Belfast equipment during the contracted period. Any damage or theft incurred due to a lack of reasonable protection on your part (except in the case of gross negligence on the part of Mobile Disco Belfast) will be payable by Hirer to the extent of repair or replacement of damaged or stolen equipment, and all costs of medical treatment.
Microphones (cordless or corded) must be used in a careful and proper manner only for speeches or performances. Anyone who wants to use the microphone has to be introduced by the DJ / MC. Absolutely no microphones given to guests under influence of alcohol. Mobile Disco Belfast is not responsible for rudeness said on the microphone. If the microphone is accidentally or deliberately dropped, damaged or stolen by anyone at the function, the cost of the repair or replacement is the responsibility of the client.
In the event of circumstances deemed by Mobile Disco Belfast to present a threat or implied threat of injury or harm Mobile Disco Belfast reserves the right to deny any guest access to the sound system, music recordings, or other equipment.
An agreement cannot be cancelled except by mutual written consent of both the Hirer and Mobile Disco Belfast. If cancellation is initiated by the Hirer in writing and agreed to by Mobile Disco Belfast in writing, Hirer will be required to pay (in addition to the reservation fee) 50% of the balance payable if the event is cancelled within 28 days, or the full balance if cancelled within 7 days and any unrecoverable costs already incurred by Mobile Disco Belfast. (but not more than the total fee agreed upon).
An agreement of Mobile Disco Belfast to perform shall be excused by detention of personnel by sickness, accidents, riots, strikes, epidemics, or any other legitimate condition beyond Mobile Disco Belfast’s control. If such circumstances arise, all reasonable efforts will be made by Mobile Disco Belfast to find a replacement entertainment at the agreed upon fees. Should Mobile Disco Belfast be unable to procure a replacement, Hirer shall receive a full refund of all fees paid to Mobile Disco Belfast. Hirer agrees that in all circumstances, Mobile Disco Belfast liability shall be exclusively limited to refunding the fees paid and that Mobile Disco Belfast shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from any breach of contract.
Hirer is responsible for paying any charges imposed by the venue. These charges may include, but are not limited to, use of electric power, fire department, fines, and overtime.
Hirer may not transfer a reservation to another party without the prior written consent of Mobile Disco Belfast.
Mobile Disco Belfast offers a "money back, satisfaction guarantee" which only applies if the overall standard of Mobile Disco Belfast's service at the event is unsatisfactory. Mobile Disco Belfast reserves the right to refuse a refund if it is clear that the hirer and/or associated party thoroughly enjoyed the performance. This guarantee is invalid if cancellation is initiated by the Hirer, the venue, or if dissatisfaction is due to anything outside of our control.
Permission to use haze/ fog machines may be denied by the venue.
Hirer must request in advance for products and services listed on our website as "optional" to be brought to the event, otherwise they may not be available.
These terms and conditions have been compiled so as to comply with UK law. If you think they fail to satisfy the law of our jurisdiction, Mobile Disco Belfast would like to hear from you.
Mobile Disco Belfast may update these terms of service from time to time as necessary. The terms that apply to you are those posted here on the website on the day you use this website. It is recommended that you to print a copy for your records.
